Rincon

Rincon was a little surfer nook that we spontaneously came upon today. I thought we were going to get beat for being tourists...especially myself, with my flashy obnoxious camera and all. However, smiles were shared and photos were taken. And it was beautiful. This surfer made his board out of plywood. It was incredible, to say the least!

Orange with green in the middle

With much time and consideration in the Flower Fields of Carlsbad, Cali I came to the decision that the orange ones with green still left in the middle were my very favorite. Thanks Raj, for encouraging me to decide the best out of about 5 million flowers. ;)

The pre-surf strech

The California surfers have a reoccuring motif to stretch/meditate before emerging into the frigid water. I kinda' liked this idea. :)

(click on pic!) Cali is GORGEOUS. Here's a sneak peak of some of the pics I've been snapping. I love this place. This was a beautiful beach by Scripps research. Sam and Raj spent some time surfing by the pier. I was at peace, my mom however was an impatient five year old. ;)
